IRC Non-Prescriptive Steel & Concrete Elements
When the plans for your client fall outside of IRC prescriptive "rules" (e.g. spans greater than tables allow, heavy point loads, or unique configurations), your permit jurisdiction may require professional engineering per IRC R301.1.3 for safety and permit approval. I handle the technical side efficiently with fast turnarounds for builders.
